THE FIELD
The 27 holes of the Golf Club are located over an area close to the centuries-old pinewood, immediately behind the beach and facing the Adriatic sea. In 1986, the first 9 holes were opened (RED COURSE), designed by Architect Marco Croze and located right inside the unspoilt pinewood. The year after, the Marco Croze project was completed with the opening
of the second 9 holes (BLUE COURSE).
This latter addition has made the course particularly pleasant and varied, being surrounded by lakes and hazards recalling the large US courses. In 2004 – thanks the collaboration between the professional golfer Baldovino Dassù and Architect Alvise Rossi Fioravanti – the third nine holes were completed (YELLOW COURSE), the innovative design of which is mainly inspired by Scottish links

The turf
Between 2008 and 2011 an ambitious project was launched for the replacement of the fairway and tee turf. All 27 holes were converted to Bermuda turf. The work was very quickly carried out thanks to innovative applications and after years of onsite testing. The selected grass, called “Riviera”, stands out for its fast “green up”, i.e., the capacity to take on a green colour after the winter months, and ensures perfect fairways and tees during the warm season.
The fairways, cut every other day to a height of 10 millimetres, are truly spectacular and highly appealing to players. It must be underscored that thanks to this transformation, the use of phytochemicals has been eliminated and the amount of watering required has been considerably reduced. Finally, autumn inter-sowing with perennial Lolium blends, ensures a lush green playing surface even during the winter months.
